حدثنا عمر بن أبي عمر العبدي، ثنا الحارث ابن عبد الله، عن أبي معشرٍ، عن هشام بن عروة، عن أبيه، عن عائشة -رضي الله عنها-، قالت: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: ((إذا شربتم، فاشربوا بثلاثة أنفاسٍ، فالأول: شكرٌ لشرابه، والثاني: شفاءٌ في جوفه، والثالث: مطردةٌ للشيطان، وإذا شربتم، فمصوه مصاً؛ فإنه أجدر أن يجري مجراه، وإنه أهنأ وأمرأ)).قال أبو عبد الله:فإنما صار الأول شكراً للمنتبهين عن الله، لما خلص إليه عذوبة الماء ورطوبته، وبرده، تراءى لقلبه لطف الله له في ذلك الماء، كيف جرت ربوبيتهفي ذلك الماء، حتى رطبه وأعذبه وبرده، فكانت رؤيته لذلك شكراً.وأما النفس الثاني: إنما صار شفاء؛ لأن النفس الأول لما كان بهذه الهيئة، أذهب بالداء، وإذا ذهب الداء، جاءت نوبة الشفاء، فلما شكر هذا العبد في النفس الأول، استوجب من الله المزيد، وهو قوله: {لئن شكرتم لأزيدنكم}، فاجتلب في النفس الثاني المزيد، فصار شفاء؛ لأن البركة قد اشتملت على المزيد.وأما النفس الثالث: فإنما صار مطردة للشيطان؛ للوترية التي فيه، فإن الله تعالى وترٌ يحب الوتر.فالنفس الثالث: محبوبه، والنفس الثاني: شكره لعبده، وهو بمزيده، والنفس الأول: رحمته، فإنما انطرد الشيطان من صدره وقلبه؛ للوترية التي في النفس الثالث.فعلى النفس الأول: سمة رحمته، وعلى النفس الثاني: سمة مزيده، وعلى النفس الثالث: سمة الوتر الذي هو فرد أحدٌ واحد، فوتريته نفت كل خلط في الأعمال مما يريد الشيطان أن يزاوجه؛ لأن الله -تبارك وتعالى- أبدى وتريته؛ لتكون الأعمال لله خالصاً، والشيطان مستعد لأن يزاوج الأعمال بما يورد على القلوب في تلك الصدور، والموحد ينفي مزاوجته بحظه من وترية الله تعالى، حتى يبطل كيده، ويصفو عمله للوتر.ولذلك كانت العلماء تتوخى الوتر في كل شيء.فأهل الباطن نالوا هذا العلم من الذي وصفت في الأصل، وأهل الظاهر اقتدوا بالظاهر من أمر الله -تبارك وتعالى-، وقول رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم وفعله، فأما قول الله تعالى في تنزيله: {ومن كل شيءٍ خلقنا زوجين لعلكم تذكرون}.ثم لما صار إلى حد العدد، أبدى محبوبه في خلقه الذي خلق، فجعل سرير الملك واحداً، وكرسي القضاء واحداً، وقلم المقادير واحداً، ولوح الأعمال واحداً، والجنة دار الأحباب واحداً، والسجن دار الأعداء واحداً، ثم جعل للجنة سبعة أبواب، وللنار سبعة أبواب، لكل باب منهم جزء مقسوم، وجعل باباً واحداً، وهو باب محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم، وهو باب الرحمة، فهو باب التوبة، فهو منذ خلقه الله مفتوح لا يغلق، فإذا طلعت الشمس من مغربها، أغلق، فلم يفتح إلى يوم القيامة، وسائر الأبواب باب الأعمال مقسومة على أعمال البر، فباب منها للصلاة، وباب للصوم، وباب للزكاة والصدقة، وباب للحج، وباب للجهاد، وباب للصلة، وباب للعمرة.وأما أبواب النيران: فلكل باب من الكفار جزء مقسوم، فباب منها للشرك، وباب للشك، وباب للغفلة، وباب للشهوة، وباب للرغبة، وباب للرهبة، وباب للغضب.فأما باب التوبة من الجنة الزائد على الأبواب، فليس هو باب عمل، إنما هو باب الرحمة العظمى الذي منه تدخل توبة العباد إلى الله، فلذلك قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: ((أنا نبي التوبة، ونبي الملحمة)).

حدثنا بذلك علقمة بن عمرٍو التميمي، ثنا أبو بكر بن عياشٍ،((وأنا رحمةٌ مهداةٌ)) بإسناد له.وقال: {وما أرسلناك إلا رحمةً للعالمين} لنفس محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم: كانت رحمة للعالمين، وسائر الأنبياء -عليهم السلام- يبعثهم رحمة للعالمين، فمن كان من الأنبياء مبعثهم رحمة للعالمين، فيبعث بالهدى والنبوة والرسالة إليهم، فمن أجابهم، سعد، ومن أعرض عنهم، عوجل بالعذاب.ومحمد صلى الله عليه وسلم مولده ونفسه كانت رحمة للعالمين، فصار مولده وخروجه إلى الدنيا أماناً للعالمين، فمن أبى وأعرض، لم يعاجل بالعذاب، وأخر إلى يوم القيامة؛ لحرمة خروجه إلى الدنيا من الأصلاب والأرحام، ولدفنه حيث دفن إلى نفخ الصور؛ فحرمه تلك الرحمة، وأمانه قائم.فروي في الخبر أنه: ما من فجر يوم يطلع إلا نزل قبره سبعون ألف ملك يحفون بالقبر.عدنا إلى ما ذكرنا من الوترية:فالسماوات سبع، والأرضون سبع، والأيام سبع، والسجود على سبع، والجوارح المثاني والعاقب سبع، والرزق من سبع، وخلق الإنسان من سبع، وأيام الدنيا كلها سبعة، فهذه الأشياء كلها وتر، وأمر بصلاة المغرب وتراً؛ ليرفع عمل النهار إلى الله وتراً، وإذا صلى العشاء أمر بالوتر؛ ليرفع عمل الليل إلى الله وتراً؛ لأن ملائكة الليل غير ملائكة النهار، وكان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يتوضأ وتراً، وإذا تكلم فأعاد الحديث أعاد وتراً، وكان متوخياً للوترية في كل شيء.وروي عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه: أنه كان يتوخى الوترية في كل شيء؛ حتى إنه كان يقرأ في صلاته أم القرآن بثلاثة أنفاس.وكان ابن سيرين يتفقد ذلك، حتى يأمر الخادم أن تضع على مائدته من كل شيء وتراً، يتوخون بذلك محبوب الله، والتماس البركة، وانطراد الشيطان ونفوره، وإذا انطرد الشيطان في النفس الثالث، كأنما ينطرد لتوخي هذا الشارب بتلك الوترية في هذا النفس، وبقي الشفاء على هيئته، وثبت الشكر لصاحبه في النفس الأول، فلذلك قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:((إن الله ليرضى عن العبد بالشربة الواحدة، وبالأكلة الواحدة، يشربها، أو يأكلها، فيحمد الله عليها)).

وحدثنا الجارود، ثنا وكيعٌ، عن يوسف أبي خزيمة، عن الحسن، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: ((ما أنعم الله على عبدٍ من نعمةٍ صغيرةٍ ولا كبيرةٍ، فحمد الله عليها، إلا كان قد أعطي خيراً مما أخذ)).

قال الجارود: قال وكيعٌ: كان يقال: الحمد لله شكر لا إله إلا الله.قال أبو عبد الله:فيا لها من كلمة لوكيع؛ لأن لا إله إلا الله أعظم النعم، فإذا حمد الله عليها، كان في كلمة الحمد قول: لا إله إلا الله متضمنة مشتملة عليها الحمد لله.فالنفس الأول: للشكر، وإنما ثبت له هذا الشكر بهذه الوترية في الثالثة؛ لانطراد الشيطان؛ لأنه إذا لم يكن مطروداً، أدخل عليه بوسوسته ما يبطل شكره، وذلك أنه يوسوس إليه في عذوبته، أو في صفائه، أو في برده خللاً ينغص عليه النعمة، حتى يغيب عن قلبه لطف ربوبية الله في ذلك الماء، فربما أولج في الماء خللاً حتى يشغله عن رؤية اللطف والربوبية.فإنما ثبت له شكر النفس الأول بتوخيه الوترية، حين قطع النفس في الثانية طالباً لوترية الله فيه بالنفس الثالث، فإنما استوجب العبد رضا الله عنه في شربةٍ واحدة، لهذه الآداب التي دأب عليها مطيعاً لله، طالباً فيها حسن العمل، فإن الله -تبارك اسمه- قال: {الذي خلق الموت والحياة ليبلوكم أيكم أحسن عملاً}.فأعلم أنه يبلونا أينا أحسن عملاً في الحياة؛ ليجزينا به بعد الممات، يبتغي منا حسن العمل، لا الكثرة والتخليط؛ فإن الكثرة في العدد إنما تكثر عند من يجوز أن يموه عليه ويخادع، والله تعالى لا يخادع، ولا يموه عليه، فقليل العمل إذا كان حشوه الحسن، فهو كثير؛ لأنه إنما حسنه العبد من حب الله تعالى وهيبته وإجلاله، فحسن العمل في كل شيء: أن لا يلتفت إلى رشوة من ربه، وطهارته: أن يكون لله خالصاً.فهذه الشربة الواحدة إنما رضي الله عن العبد بها؛ لأنه يسمي في أولها، ويتنفس حين قطع الشرب للمزيد ليجتلبه؛ فإن المزيد أكثر من الشكر، ثم تنفس، فقطع؛ ليجتلب الوترية، فيتقي العدو الحاسد الذي قد أعد له في كل شيء حسداً، فيثبت له الشكر، ويدوم.فإذا حمد الله، فقد ختمه بكلمة الصدق، فرضي عنه بتلك الكلمة الصادقة، وإذا حمده حمداً، مع تركه الأدب الذي وصفنا، كانت كلمته بالحمد مدخولة، يخاف ألا يستوجب الرضا، فإن رضا الله عن العبد له خطبٌ جليل، وشأن رفيع، وإذا رضي الله عن عبده، أثنى عليه في سمائه على عرشه،وأحبه جبريل والملائكة -عليهم السلام-، فإذا حمد مع ترك الأدب باستيلاء الغفلة، كان حمده حمد السكارى.

حدثنا عمر، ثنا سليمان بن شرحبيل، عن البختري بن عبيدٍ، ثنا أبي، ثنا أبو هريرة رضي الله عنه، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: ((من شرب ماءً بثلاثة أنفاسٍ، بدأ فسمى في كل مرةٍ، وحمد بعد كل مرةٍ، سبح ذلك الماء في جوفه حتى يشرب ماءً غيره)).قال أبو عبد الله:فإن صار الماء بعد ما صار مواتاً بالشرب، والاستهلاك حياً في جوفه، فإنما حيي بتلك التسمية، وذلك الحمد بحياة قلب العبد الشارب له.وأما قوله: ((إذا شربتم فمصوه)).لأن اللهاة تيبس من حرارة الجوف، ولهبان الكبد، فتعطش اللهاة، فإذا مص الماء، كان لبث البرودة على اللهاة، وتمكث الروح الذي تضمنه الماء بوروده على اللهاة أكثر، فتسكن العطش، فاستغنى به عن كثرته، وكثرة الماء تتخم، وتبقى تلك التخمة في العروق، فتحدث داء كبيراً،فكثرة شرب الماء ليس محمود عند العلماء بالدين، ولا عند العلماء بالطب؛ لأنه إذا أكثر شرب الماء، امتلأت العروق، فثقلت، وخلص ذلك إلى عروق القلب، فأورثت النوم، فإذا مصه أسرع برودة الماء إلى تسكين عطش اللهاة، فاستغنى عن الازدياد.وأيضاً خلة أخرى: إذا شربه مصاً، كان أرفق لمجراه في العروق، ولذلك كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يثقل عليه أن يرى أحداً يشرب بنفس واحد، وكان يقول: ((لا تعبه عباً؛ فإن الكباد من العباب)).معناه: إذا عب، أضر بالكبد، وذلك أن مجمع العروق عند الكبد، ومنه ينقسم في العروق، فإذا عبه في دفعة واحدة؛ أي: أحدره وصوبه واحدة، فقد أوعب، وكان ذلك بمنزلة نهر فتحت مفتحه، فإذا فتحت بمرة واحدة، فدخل الماء جملةً، لم يؤمن البثق، والفساد، وخرب عضادتي النهر، ففاض وأفسد، فكذلك إذا شربه عباباً في دفعة واحدة صباً لا مصاً، لم تحتمل العروق ذلك، وفاضت من المعدة إلى العروق، فربما كان على الطريق سدد في العروق، واحتبس الماء هناك، من أجل السدة، فروي، فصار خاماً، وقوي البلغم، فحدثت منه أدواء، وأورث ذلك البلغم كسلاً عن عبادة الله وفتوراً، ففيه ضرر للدين، وهذا من حقوق النفس التي أوصاك الله بها في تنزيله فقال: {ولا تقتلوا أنفسكم إن الله كان بكم رحيماً}، ثم قال: {ومن يفعل ذلك عدواناً وظلماً فسوف نصليه ناراً}.فمن لها عند تفقد إقامة مثل هذه الحقوق التي وصفنا، يوشك أن يؤديه إلى ما أكثر منه، وكان آخذاً بحظه من الظلم والعدوان في هذا القدر، فكان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم شفيقاً على الأمة، ولله ناصحاً، وبالمؤمنين رؤوفاً رحيماً، عزيز عليه ما عنت الأمة، حريص بالمؤمنين أن يؤديهم إلى الله، مع ذروة الإسلام، وبهاء الإيمان، فعلمهم تناول الشراب والطعام واللباس، وكل شيء للنفس فيه حق، وقال الله تعالى في تنزيله: {لقد كان لكم في رسول الله أسوةٌ حسنةٌ لمن كان يرجوا الله واليوم الآخر}.فطهره الله وأدبه، وأحيا قلبه ونفسه، فقبل أدبه، وصار مهذباً، فأمر بالاتساء به، لمن رجا الله ورجا اليوم الآخر، وجعل الاتباع له علامة محبة الله في قلوب العباد، فقال: {قل إن كنتم تحبون الله فاتبعوني يحببكم الله}، فأوجب الله محبته لم اتبعه.
