Sahih

حدثنا محمد بن المثنى أبو موسى الزمن، ثنا معاذ بن هشامٍ، حدثني أبي، عن يونس، عن قتادة، عن أنسٍ رضي الله عنه، قال: ((ما أكل رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم على خوانٍ قط، ولا في سكرجةٍ، ولا خبز له مرققٌ)). قلت لأنسٍ: فعلى ماذا كانوا يأكلون؟ قال: على السفر. قال أبو موسى: يونس هذا هو ابن أبي الفرات الإسكاف. قال أبو عبد الله رحمه الله: الخوان: هو شيء محدثٌ فعلته الأعاجم، ولم تكن العرب لتمتهنها، وكانوا يأكلون على السفر، واحدتها: سفرة، وهي التي تتخذ من الجلود، ولها معاليق تنضم وتنفرج، وبالانفراج سميت: سفرة؛ لأنها إذا حلت معاليقها، انفرجت، فأسفرت عما فيها، فقيل: سفرة. وإنما سمي السفر سفراً: لإسفار الرجل بنفسه عن البيوت والعمران. وقوله: (ولا في سكرجةٍ)؛ لأنها أوعية الأصباغ للألوان، ولم يكن من شأنهم الألوان، إنما كان طعامهم الثريد عليها مقطعات اللحم. وكان يقول: ((انهسوا اللحم نهساً؛ فإنه أشهى وأمرأ)).

حدثنا بذلك عبد الجبار: قال: حدثنا سفيان، عن عبد الكريم بن أبي أمية، عن عبد الله بن الحارث، عن صفوان بن أمية، عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: ((انهسوا اللحم نهساً؛ فإنه أشهى وأمرأ)).وقوله: (ولا خبز له مرققٌ): فكان عامة خبزهم الشعير، وإنما يتخذ الرقاق من دقيق البر، وقلما يمكن اتخاذه من الشعير، وإنما الرقاق لمن اتخذ الميسر، وليس ذلك من شأن العرب، إنما هو من فعل العجم، والعرب تنهس اللحم.وسمعت الجارود يذكر عن وكيع، قال: ما درينا ما البر ما هو حتى جاءنا ابن المبارك.والميسر: هي عربية مولدة، وليست بأصلية فيما أحسبه، كأنه أخذ من تيسير اللحم؛ لأنه اتخذ تيسير اللحم اليسير على النفر الكثير، وإذا كان لحماً، أخذ كل إنسان بضعة لم يتسعوا فيه ولا تيسروا، فاتخاذ الميسر هو قسمة وتوزيع بين الأكلة، وذلك الانتهاس. والتعرق: هو فعل العرب في عامة هذه الأشياء أيسر من فعل العجم، طبعوا على الضيق والعسر والنكد، إلا من انتخبه الله، وامتحن قلبه للتقوى، واصطفاه للعبودية، فشرح صدره، وطهر خلقه، ولست أعني بقول: العرب، من نرى في زماننا بهذه الناحية، فإن عامة هذه الناحية نزعت بهم عروق أمهاتهم المولدات إلى أخلاقهم، وطبائعهم، وكثر خلط السوء فيهم من عروق العجم، وأخلاقهم، فبقياتهم هجين، إنما أعني أولئك الصفوة الذين جرت نطفهم من الأصلاب الكرام إلى الأمهات الحرائر ذوي الأحساب والعناصر السنية، وإنما ذكرت هذا؛ لئلا يشتبه عليك الأمر فيما ذكرت من شأن العرب.وكذلك الخوان: أحسبها عربيةً مولدة؛ لأنه لم يكن عند القوم، فإن قال قائل: فقد جرت الأخبار عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم بذكر المائدة.

حدثنا عمر بن أبي عمر، حدثنا محمد بن سلام العطار، حدثني الحسن بن مهران الكرماني، قال: سمعت فرقداً صاحب رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول: رأيت محمداً صلى الله عليه وسلم، وطعمت على مائدته الطعام.قال: فالمائدة: كل شيء يمد ويبسط؛ مثل: المنديل، والثوب، والسفرة، نسب إلى فعله، وكان من حقه أن يكون ماددة، الدال مضاعفة، فجعلوا إحدى الدالين ياء، فقالوا: مائدة، والفعل واقعٌ به، فكان ينبغي أن يكون ممدوداً، ولكن خرجت في اللغة مخرج فاعل؛ كما قالوا: سر كاتم، وهو مكتوم، وعيشةٌ راضية، وهي مرضية، وكذلك خرجت في اللغة ما هو فاعل مخرج مفعول، فقالوا: رجل مشؤوم، وإنه هو شائمٌ، وحجابٌ مستورٌ، وإنما هو ساترٌ.فالخوان: هو المرتفع عن الأرض بقوائمه.والمائدة: ما مد وبسط.والسفرة: ما أسفر عما في جوفه، وذلك أنها مضمومة بمعاليقها.

حدثنا عمر بن أبي عمر، حدثنا سهل بن تمام، حدثنا يحيى بن دينار البكري والد همام، عن الحسن، قال: الأكل على الخوان فعل الملوك، وعلى المنديل فعل العجم، وعلى السفرة فعل العرب، وهو سنةٌ.فكان هذا بدو هذه الأشياء، فلما غلب العجم على هذا الفعل من الأخونة؛ نسب الأخونة إلى المائدة، فقيل للخوان: مائدة، ومما يحقق ما قلنا: إن المائدة هي التي تبسط وتمد، ما جاء في التنزيل من ذكر المائدة، وإنما نزل سفرة حمراء مدورة، وإنما سألوا فقالوا: {ربنا أنزل علينا مائدةً من السماء}.قال الله تعالى: {إني منزلها عليكم}، فجاء في الخبر: أن سفرةً نزلت من السماء عليها الطعام.

حدثنا بذلك: عمر بن أبي عمر، حدثنا عمار ابن هارون الثقفي، عن زكريا بن حكيمٍ الحنظلي، عن علي ابن زيد بن جدعان، عن أبي عثمان النهدي، عن سلمان الفارسي رضي الله عنه، قال: لما سألت الحواريون عيسى بن مريم -صلوات الله عليه- المائدة، قال: فوضع لباس الصوف، ولبس ثياب المسوح، وهو سربال من مسوح أسود، ولحاف أسود، فقام فألزق القدم بالقدم، وألزق العقب بالعقب، والإبهام بالإبهام، ووضع يده اليمنى على اليسرى، ثم طأطأ رأسه خاشعاً لله، ثم أرسل عينيه يبكي، حتى جرى على لحيته، وجعل يقطر على صدره، ثم قال: {اللهم ربنا أنزل علينا مائدةً من السماء تكون لنا عيداً لأولنا وآخرنا وآيةً منك وارزقنا وأنت خير الرازقين}، قال الله: {إني منزلها عليكم فمن يكفر بعد منكم فإني أعذبه عذاباً لا أعذبه أحداً من العالمين}.فنزلت سفرةٌ حمراء مدورةٌ بين غمامتين، غمامة من فوقها، والأخرى من تحتها، والناس ينظرون إليها، فقال عيسى عليه السلام: اللهم اجعلها رحمة، ولا تجعلها فتنة، إلهي أسألك من العجائب فتعطيني، فهبطت بين يدي عيسى عليه السلام، وعليها منديل مغطى، فخر عيسى ساجداً، والحواريون معه، وهم يجدون لها رائحة طيبة لم يكونوا يجدون قبل ذلك، فقال عيسى عليه السلام: أيكم أعبد لله عز وجل، وأجرأ على الله، وأوثق بالله، فليكشف عن هذه السفرة حتى نأكل منها، ونذكر اسم الله عليها، ونحمد الله عليها، فقال الحواريون: يا روح الله! أنت أحق بذلك، فقام عيسى -عليه الصلاة والسلام-، فكشف عنها، فإذا عليها سمكةٌ مشوية ليس فيها شوكٌ، يسيل سيلان الدسم، وقد نضد حولها من كل البقول ما خلا الكراث، وعند رأسها ملح وخلٌّ، وعند ذنبها خمسة أرغفة، على واحد منها خمس رمانات، وعلى الآخر تمرات، وعلى الآخر زيتون، فبلغ ذلك اليهود، فجاءوا غماً وكمداً ينظرون إليه، فرأوا عجباً، فقال شمعون، وهو رأس الحواريين: يا روح الله! أمن طعام الدنيا، أم من طعام الجنة؟!فقال عيسى: أما افترقتم بعد عن هذه المسائل؟ ما أخوفني أن تعذبوا! قال شمعون: وإله إسرائيل! ما أردت بذلك سوءاً، فقالوا: يا روح الله! لو كان مع هذه الآية آية أخرى؟ فقال عيسى عليه السلام: يا سمكة! احيي بإذن الله، فاضطربت السمكة طرباً تبصبص عيناها، ففزع الحواريون، فقال عيسى: ما لي أراكم تسألون عن الشيء، فإذا أعطيتموه كرهتموه؟! ما أخوفني أن تعذبوا وقال: لقد نزلت من السماء، وما عليها طعامٌ من الدنيا، ولا طعامٌ من الجنة، ولكنه شيء ابتدعه الله عز وجل بالقدرة البالغة، فقال لها: كوني، فكانت. فقال عيسى: يا سمكة! عودي كما كنت، فعادت مشوبةً كما كانت. فقال الحواريون: يا روح الله! كن أول من يأكل منها. فقال عيسى عليه السلام: معاذ الله! إنما يأكل منها من طلبها وسألها، فأبت الحواريون أن يأكلوا منها خشية أن تكون مثلةً وفتنةً، فلما رأى عيسى ذلك، دعا عليها الفقراء والمساكين، والمرضى والزمنى، والمجذومين والمقعدين والعميان، وأهل الماء الأصفر. فقال: كلوا من رزق ربكم، ودعوة نبيكم، واحمدوا الله عليه، وقال: يكون المهنأ لكم، والعذاب على غيركم، فأكلوا حتى صدروا عن شبع ألف وثلاث مئة يتجشؤون، فبرئ كل سقيم أكل منه، واستغنى كل فقير حتى الممات، فلما رأى ذلك الناس، ازدحموا عليه، فلم يبق صغير ولا كبير، ولا شيخ ولا شاب، ولا غني ولا فقير، إلا جاؤوا يأكلون منه، فضغط بعضهم بعضاً. فلما رأى ذلك عيسى عليه السلام، جعلها نوائب بينهم، فكانت تنزل عليهم يوماً، ولا تنزل يوماً؛ كناقة ثمود، ترعى يوماً، وتشرب يوماً، فنزلت أربعين يوماً، تنزل ضحى، فلا تزال هكذا حتى يفيء الفيء موضعه، فيأكل الناس منها حتى ترجع إلى السماء، والناس ينظرون إليها حتى توارى عنهم، فلما تم أربعون يوماً، أوحى الله إلى عيسى عليه السلام: يا عيسى! اجعل مائدتي هذه للفقراء دون الأغنياء، فتمارى الأغنياء في ذلك، وعادوا الفقراء، وشكوا، وشككوا الناس. فقال الله: يا عيسى! إني آخذ بشرطي، فأصبح منهم ثلاثة وثلاثون خنزيراً يأكلون العذرة، يطلبونها في الأكناف بعد ما كانوا يأكلون الطعام الطيب، وينامون على الفرش اللينة، فلما رأى الناس ذلك، اجتمعوا حول عيسى عليه السلام، وجاءت الخنازير جثوا على ركبهم قدام عيسى، فجعلوا يبكون، والدموع تقطر منهم، فعرفهم عيسى، فجعل يقول: ألست بفلان؟ فيومئ برأسه، ولا يستطيع الكلام، فلبثوا كذلك سبعة أيام، ومنهم من يقول: أربعة أيام، ثم دعا الله أن يقبض أرواحهم، فأصبحوا لا يدرى كيف ذهبوا، الأرض ابتلعتهم، أو ما صنعوا!؟.

حدثنا الفضل بن محمدٍ، حدثنا العباس بن الوليد الدمشقي، حدثنا يحيى بن صالح، حدثنا سعيد بن بشير، حدثنا قتادة، عن الحسن، قال: دخلنا على عاصم بن حدرة، فقال: ((ما كان لرسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم بوابٌ قط، ولا مشي معه بوسادةٍ قط، ولا أكل على خوانٍ قط)). قال العباس: عاصم بن حدرة رجلٌ من الأنصار.
