حدثنا الفضل بن محمدٍ، قال: حدثنا كثير بن عبيدٍ الحمصي، قال: حدثنا بقية، عن الأوزاعي، عن الزهري، عن عروة، عن عائشة -رضي الله عنها-، قالت: سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول: ((إن الله يحب الملحين في الدعاء)).ففي الإلحاح ملقٌ، والمؤمن حبيب الله، ولحبه رزقه معرفته؛ لأنها أعز شيء في خزائنه، فكلما كثر سؤال الحبيب، فهو أحب إلى محبه، والله يحب صوته.فروي في الخبر عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:((أن الله -تبارك وتعالى- يقول: يا جبريل! قد قضيت حاجته، وأجبت دعوته، ولكن احبسها عنه؛ فإني أحب صوته))

حدثنا الفضل بن محمدٍ، قال: حدثنا دحيمٌ الدمشقي -واسمه عبد الرحمن بن إبراهيم-، قال: حدثنا الوليد بن مسلمٍ، قال: حدثنا سعيد بن عبد العزيز، قال: ((قال داود -صلوات الله عليه-: سبحان مستخرج الدعاء بالبلاء، سبحان مستخرج الشكر بالرخاء)).وروي عن كعب، قال: ((قال الله تعالى لموسى عليه السلام: يا موسى! اطلب إلي العلف والدقة لشاتك، ولا تستحي أن تسألني صغيراً، ولا تخف مني بخلاً أن تسألني عظيماً، يا موسى! أما تعلم أني خلقت الخردلة فما فوقها، وأني لم أخلق شيئاً إلا وقد علمت أن الخلق يحتاجون إليها؟ فمن سألني مسألةً، وهو يعلم أني قادرٌ، أعطي وأمنع، أعطيته مسألته مع المغفرة، فإن حمدني حين أعطيه، وحين أمنعه، أسكنته دار الحمادين، وأيما عبدٍ لم يسألني مسألةً، ثم أعطيته، كان أشد عليه عند الحساب، ثم إذا أعطيته ولم يشكرني، عذبته عند الحساب)).

حدثنا بذلك عبد الله بن أبي زيادٍ القطواني، قال: حدثنا سيارٌ، قال: حدثنا موسى بن سعيدٍ الراسبي، قال: حدثنا هلالٌ أبو جبلة، عن أبي عبد السلام، عن أبيه، عن كعب.فالدعاء اعتراف العبد بأن ذلك منه، فإذا أعطاه، كان قد قدم الشكر؛ لأن الشكر إنما هو رؤية العبد من ربه من ذلك العطاء، فالحمد لله قولاً، والحفظ للجوارح له طاعة، فإذا لم يسأل، فأعطي، اقتضى الشكر، فحوسب لاقتضائه، فإذا لم يوجد الشكر، جاء العذاب.وإنما صار الملح محبوباً؛ لأنه لا ينقطع رجاؤه، فهو يسأل فلا يرى إجابة، ثم يسأل فلا يرى إجابة، فلا يزال يلح، ولا ينقطع رجاؤه،ولا يدخله اليأس، فذلك لعلمه بالله، وصحة قلبه، وصدق عبودته، واستقامة وجهه، فمن صدق الله في دعوته، استعمل اللسان، وانتظر بالقلب مشيئته، ولا يضيق، ولا ييئس؛ لأن قلبه صار معلقاً بمشيئته، فانتظاره المشيئة من أفضل ما تقدم به على ربه، وهو صفو العبودة، فاستعماله اللسان عبادة؛ لأن في السؤال اعترافاً بأنها له، وفي انتظار مشيئته لقضائه عبادةٌ، فهو بين عبادتين سريتين وجهريتين، فاضلتين، وأفضل الدعاء ما داوم عليه.وجاء عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: أنه قال: ((ليدع أحدكم، ولا يقولن أحدكم: قد سألت، فلم يستجب لي)).وجاء عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: أنه قال: ((إن العبد المؤمن يستجاب له))، فالإجابة: ((إذا قال العبد: يا رب! قال الله عز وجل: لبيك))؛ لأنه إنما ناداه بأنه لا رب له غيره، فصدق الكريم قوله في ذلك، فأجابه.((فإذا سأله حاجةً، فهو منه على إحدى ثلاثٍ: إما أن يعجل له حاجته، وإما أن يصرف عنه بمسألته بدل حاجته شرًّا، وإما أن يدخر له في آخرته ما هو خيرٌ له مما سأل)).فلم تسقط دعوته على حالٍ.قال الله عز وجل لموسى: {قد أجيبت دعوتكما}.

حدثنا عمر، قال: حدثنا أبو سلمة موسى بن إسماعيل، عن أبي عوانة، عن الأعمش، عن مجاهدٍ، قال: بعد أربعين سنةً.قال أبو عبد الله: وقد كان كثير من السلف الصالح يمتنعون من الدعاء، يخافون من خيانة نفوسهم، لا يحبون أن يراهم الله في طلب الحاجة كأهل الغفلة، يطلبونها بنهمة وشهوة.وأما أهل اليقين، فإنهم يدعون، ويلحون، وهم في ذلك ساكنون، مطمئنون، ينتظرون مشيئته، فإن أجاب، قبلوا، وإن تأخر، صبروا، وإن منع، رضوا، وأحسنوا الظن، كما قال أبو حبيب البدوي.

حدثنا الفضل بن محمدٍ، قال: حدثنا عبد الله الأنطاكي، قال: حدثني أبو الفيض، قال: قال سفيان الثوري: أتيت أبا حبيبٍ البدوي أسلم عليه، وما كنت رأيته قط،فقال: أنت سفيان الثوري الذي يقال؟ قلت: نعم، نسأل الله بركة ما يقال، ثم قال لي: يا سفيان! ما رأينا خيراً قط إلا من ربنا، قلت: أجل، قال: فما لنا نكره لقاء من لا نرى خيراً قط إلا منه؟! ثم قال لي: يا سفيان! منع الله إياك عطاءٌ منه لك، وذلك أنه لم يمنعك من بخلٍ، ولا عدمٍ، وإنما منعه نظراً واختياراً، يا سفيان! إن فيك لأنساً، ومعك شغلاً، سلامٌ عليك، ثم أقبل على غنيمته، وتركني.فمن شأن أهل الجود: الإعطاء، فذاك أحب إليهم من الأخذ للسؤال، ومعروف في أهل السماحة والجود: أنه يلتذ بجوده وعطائه أكثر مما يلتذ الآخذ بالنوال؛ لأن الأخذ خلق الفقراء، والإعطاء خلق الأغنياء، وهو خلق أهل الجنان، وهو خلق الله الأعظم.

حدثنا قتيبة بن سعيدٍ، قال: حدثنا محمد ابن يزيد بن خنيسٍ، قال: كان من دعاء سفيان الثوري: يا من يحب أن يسأل، ويغضب على من لا يسأله، ويا من أحب عباده إليه من سأله، فأكثر سؤاله، وليس أحدٌ كذلك غيرك يا كريم، ويا من أبغض عباده إليه من لم يسأله، ولم يطلب إليه، وليس أحدٌ كذلك غيرك يا كريم، ويا من أحب عباده إليه من سأله العظيم، ولم يعظم عليك -وعزتك- عظيمٌ يا عظيم.
