حدثنا محمد بن زنبور المكي، حدثنا إسماعيل ابن جعفرٍ المدني، حدثنا العلاء بن عبد الرحمن، عن أبيه، عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه: أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: ((بينما رجلٌ يمشي في الطريق إذ أبصر بغصن شوكٍ، فقال: والله! لأرفعن هذا؛ لا يصيب أحداً من المسلمين، فرفعه، فغفر له). قال أبو عبد الله رحمه الله: فليس برفع الغصن نال المغفرة فيما فعله، ولكن بتلك الرحمة التي عم بها المسلمين، ألا ترى إلى قوله: ((لأرفعن هذا؛ لا يصيب أحداً))، فشكر الله له عطفه ورأفته.ومما يحقق ذلك: ما روي عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: أنه قال: ((بينما عبدٌ لم يعمل لله خيراً قط مر على بئرٍ، فشرب، فإذا هو بكلبٍ يلهث عطشاً، فغرف له بخفه، فسقاه، فشكر الله له ذلك، فغفر له)).

حدثنا قتيبة، عن مالكٍ، عن سميٍّ، عن أبي صالح، عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه، عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، بذلك.((وبينما عبدٌ لم يعمل لله خيراً قط، فمر على غصن شوكٍ، فأماطه عن الطريق، فغفر الله له، وبينما عبدٌ لم يعمل خيراً قط، ففرق، فخرج هارباً، فجعل ينادي: يا أرض! اشفعي لي، ويا سماء! اشفعي لي، ويا كذا! اشفعي لي،حتى أصابه العطش، فوقع، فلما أفاق، قيل له: قم؛ فقد شفع لك من قبل فرقك من الله عز وجل)).

حدثنا بذلك أبي رحمه الله، عن صالحٍ بن محمدٍ، عن أبي مقاتلٍ، عن أبي الحجاج، وهو خارجة، عن ابن عجلان، عن رجلٍ، عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه، عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم.فإنما غفر له من أجل الرحمة التي رحم بها الكلب، وإنما غفر له من أجل الفرق الذي حل بقلبه، والفرق يصحح التوبة، ويكملها، فقد وعد الله التائب مغفرته ومحبته في تنزيله، وإنما سمي فرقاً؛ لأنه حل به من الخشية، ومن خوف الله عز وجل، ما ماتت منه كل شهوة، وكل معصية، فطهر الظاهر والباطن بتركه بالجوارح فعلاً، وبتركه قلباً ونفساً، فالفرق من الله صيره هكذا، فغفر له، والذي يترك المعاصي بالجوارح، وشهوتها في نفسه وقلبه، ونفسه تنازعه إلى ذلك، فإنه إن طهر ظاهره، لم يطهر باطنه، فلم يستكمل التوبة بحقيقتها. وهذا الفرق قد عمل فيه، حتى فارق المعاصي أصلاً، وأصل الفرق عندنا: ما ينفتح له من قرب الله، فينكشف له الغطاء عن جلال الله وعظمته، ثم عن سلطانه، فيفرق من هيبة ذلك السلطان قلبه، حتى يكاد ينخلع القلب من مستقره، وتموت شهواته من الخوف، وهذا الذي وصف من هذا العبد الذي لم يكن عمل خيراً قط، ففرق، فإنما أصاب الفرق، وانكشف له الغطاء بدولة وسعادة سبقت له من الله عز وجل، فختم له بذلك، وإلا، فإن الفرق لا يناله إلا النبلاء الأولياء.

حدثنا قتيبة بن سعيد، حدثنا محمد بن خنيس المكي، قال: سمعت عبد العزيز بن أبي روادٍ يقول: لما أنزل الله عز وجل على نبيه صلى الله عليه وسلم: {يأيها الذين آمنوا قوا أنفسكم وأهليكم ناراً}، قال: فلما تلاها رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم على أصحابه، خر فتًى مغشياً عليه، فوضع رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يده على فؤاده، فإذا هو يتحرك، فقال: ((يا فتى! قل: لا إله إلا الله))، فأفاق الفتى وهو يقولها، فبشره رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم بالجنة، فقال أصحابه: يا رسول الله! أمن بيننا؟ فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: ((أما سمعتم الله يقول: {ذلك لمن خاف مقامي وخاف وعيدٍ}.ومثله: ما روى بهز بن حكيم، عن أبيه، عن جده، عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم في عبدٍ لم يعمل خيراً قط، فقال لأهله: إذا أنا مت، فأحرقوني، ثم ذروني. قد كنت شرحته في بابه، فقال له ربه: إني أسمعك راهباً، فغفر له. فكذلك هذا أيضاً، قد كانت سبقت له من الله سعادة، فتداركه بها عند الموت، فرزقه الله تعالى الرهبة (حتى حل به ما حل، وتكلم بما تكلم من الدهش وتضايق الأحوال عليه. والرهبة): هو هرب القلب من شدة الخوف، والخوف خفته، وانزعاجه، فالرهبة أكبر من الخوف. ألا ترى أن الله تعالى لما ذكر أنبياءه، فقال: {ويدعوننا رغباً ورهباً}، ولما ذكر من دونهم، فقال: {يدعون ربهم خوفاً وطمعاً}. فالرغب: هو التهاب القلب حرصاً على الشيء الذي يطلبه، فهو أعلى من الطمع. والرهب: هرب القلب من هول سلطان الله. فوصف هذا العبد الذي لم يعمل خيراً قط في يوم مقدمه عليه بالرهبة، يخبرك أن الرهبة صنعت به ما صنعت، حتى أداه ذلك إلى أن أمر أولاده أن يحرقوه، وقد بينا تفسير الخوف في بابه، والله أعلم.
